The Parting of the Red Sea

I wrote this new poem The Parting of the Red Sea in response to a call for poetry for the Devil's Doorbell Anthology and incorporating all of the slang terms for “vagina” listed to tell the story of Aunt Flo coming for a visit, thusly recontextualizing the language and including a reference to menstruation in an absurd, cheeky, humorous way.
